  GWEN AVERY -
  taught me to play the piano, first using the classical masters to give me depth and then taking simple, dry pieces of music and arranging them into a masterpiece. This gave me the background I needed when I began to write music. 
  
  
  MASTER KANG RHEE - Founded the martial art system of PaSaRyu based on his years of training in Kong Soo Do, Chang Mu Kwan, Kwon Bup, Kang Duk Won ,and Han Kuk Hap Ki Do under Masters Nam Suk Lee and Chul Hee Park who were students of Byung In Yun. Master Rhee helped me put to use the understanding I had of Martial Arts training being one of determination and hard work, and gave me the first kick toward developing my own style. 
  
  
  ANSHU
  STEPHEN K. HAYES - Leading teacher of Ninjutsu in the Western Hemisphere trained with Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi in Japan. This art as taught by Anshu Hayes had the spiritual component I had been looking for, something lacking in most martial arts taught in the United States, with a strong foundation in the Mikkyo tradition.  It was also a huge affirmation of the direction I had taken in teaching self-defense in my martial arts school.  Anshu Hayes later founded the martial art of To-Shin Do.
  
  
  MICHAEL TALLEY -
  with whom I studied Jeet Kun Do, Phillipino stick fighting, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and  Pencak Silat. 
  
  AND TO THE REST-
  who shared their martial arts and beliefs about religion and spirituality, allowing me to realize that all paths have a common root, where I first learned laying on of hands healing techniques, and how spiritual communities work to better our world.

  DALLUS SHUCK - believed in me and taught me to be my most creative self no matter what others thought. He showed me how to scream, really scream!

  GRANDMASTER KIM - My first Martial Arts Instructors not only taught me the Art of Tae Kwon Do but helped free me from the slavery and fear of being in front of a crowd of people while they judged me.
  
  
  GRANDMASTER HWANG - Showed me self respect for my energy and faith that I would not hurt anyone with it.
  
  
  SHIVA - Who taught me not to fear death. He gave me mantras that changed my life, teaching me to meditate, special breathing techniques that went with the mantras and helped me to strip... first my flesh down to the bone, then view my body in death. Shiva taught me how to walk on the wind and project myself whereever.
  
  
  RADIANT ENERGY - Gave me twelve years of the most important lessons of them all. To be a teacher, student, healer, seeker of knowledge, and business owner means to teach and expect nothing in return. To live each moment, yet make a plan into the future. To let go when it is time. Metaphysics is not the answer, it only raises more questions. Faith is the only answer I really need!
